How to read this
A planet's position is an angle measured around the ecliptic, and a sign is a 30° slice of that circle. 27° Leo 04′ means the body sits 27 degrees and 4 arcminutes into the slice named Leo. Longitude is measured from the vernal equinox — the tropical convention — and from the Earth.
Direction is apparent motion. Nothing reverses in its orbit; a planet reads as retrograde when Earth overtakes it, or is overtaken by it. The Sun and Moon never do so from here, which is why they are always direct.

Is this the tropical or the sidereal zodiac?
