Saturn, Neptune, Pluto are retrograde.
Measured at 2026-08-19 00:00 UTC. Retrograde is apparent motion — a planet appearing to slide backwards against the stars as Earth overtakes it, or is overtaken. Horoscorpio lists them when they occur and maps their live timing.

That is the sky as it stands for everyone. Where it falls in your chart is a different question, and it needs your birth date, time and place.
Why it happens
Nothing reverses. Earth and the planets all travel one way around the Sun at different speeds. When Earth passes an outer planet on the inside track, that planet appears to drift backwards against the stars for a while — exactly as a slower car seems to slide backwards when you overtake it. Inner planets produce the same illusion when they overtake Earth. The apparent motion passes through zero at each end, and those instants are the stations.
The Sun and Moon never appear retrograde from Earth, which is why they are not listed here.
Questions
What planets are retrograde right now?
As measured at 2026-08-19 00:00 UTC: Saturn, Neptune, Pluto. Each is moving backwards against the stars as seen from Earth.
What does retrograde mean?
It is apparent motion, not a real reversal. No planet stops or turns around in its orbit. A planet appears to move backwards against the background stars when Earth overtakes it on the inside track, or when it overtakes Earth. Horoscorpio lists retrogrades when they occur and maps their live timing.
Why do the dates differ between websites?
Because a station is an instant, not a day, and it is often quoted in different time zones or rounded to a date. The times here are computed from ephemeris, bisected to the hour, and stated in UTC.
Times are UTC and computed from ephemeris. Horoscorpio states positions and times; it is not prophecy, and it is not medical, financial or legal advice.
