"Horoscorpio," "we," "our," and "us" mean Kudomos (ABN 15 384 058 395). "You" means the person using the app or website. By using Horoscorpio you agree to these Terms.

1. Agreement and eligibility

By downloading the app, creating an account, or using horoscorpio.com, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy (incorporated by reference). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must have capacity to enter a contract. A minimum age applies where the country you are in sets one, and the age is the age that country sets. Some countries legislate a minimum age for services of this kind, and they do not all choose the same one: across the European Economic Area it runs from 13 to 16, and it is 16 in Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. Where you are in one of those countries, an account is available only to a person who has reached the age shown for it, and the verified-age check described below applies. The countries and their ages are published at horoscorpio.com/legal/age-minimums and that page is the operative list; we keep it current as laws change, and adding or removing a country there, or correcting an age on it, is not a change to these Terms. In those countries, an account held by a child — a person under the minimum age that applies to them — is placed in Younger Astronomer mode, which closes every member-to-member surface on that account until they reach that age: the four engagement actions, the Matrix, social links, and any form of contact with another member. A child holding such an account uses the instrument and the corpus, never other members. Elsewhere no minimum is imposed, the instrument is open to any age, and a younger member uses the service like any other member; a parent or guardian may set up and manage their account, though nothing requires it. We may add countries to the minimum-age list as laws change; if the country you are in is added, the minimum applies to your account from that point.

You must give a truthful age signal. We ask for your birth year only — never your full date of birth, because the year is the least we need to apply the minimum age. It is recorded once at registration and cannot be changed afterwards.

How we read that year, in plain terms. A year on its own cannot tell us whether your birthday has already passed, so we always round down: you are treated as having reached the minimum age from the January after you actually reach it. Someone born in 2010 turns 16 during 2026 but is treated as 16 from 1 January 2027. This deliberately costs some members a few months, and we accept that cost rather than ask everyone for a full date of birth. One thing can give those months back: if you have cast a birth chart, the date you entered there may be used to recognise your actual birthday — but only where it agrees with the birth year you registered, and only ever in your favour. A date that disagrees with your registered year changes nothing. Circumventing the age gate is a material breach of these Terms.

Verified age for the participation features. The birth year you give at registration is a declaration. Two features additionally require a verified age, because they place you in contact with other people or in the shared corpus: (a) the four member-to-member engagement actions inside the 360° combination Groups — the Group Engagement Options (G.E.O): Address, Invite, Challenge, Submit, and (b) lodging a word into the planetology corpus. For these you complete a one-time identity-document check operated by Stripe Identity. We receive only the answer to a single question — whether you are 16 or over. We do not receive, view, or store your identity document, and we do not store your date of birth; we instruct Stripe to delete what it collected once the answer is returned. If the check returns an age below 16, those two features are permanently closed on that account. You have two attempts at the check, and only two. An attempt means submitting a document for verification. Opening a check and abandoning it without submitting anything does not count and costs you nothing, so you may take as long as you need to get a usable photograph before you send it. Once two submitted attempts have passed without a verified result, the identity check is closed on that account and the data services close with it — the Directory, the Wordmap and keyword compartments, the 360° combination Groups, and lodging words. The rest of your membership is unaffected and continues for the term you paid for: the aspect timer, natal charts, the planets, the calendar, the Solar HARP and Seven Force all remain available. Each attempt is charged to us by the verification provider whether it succeeds or fails, which is why the number is two; we do not offer further attempts, and exhausting them does not entitle you to a refund except where the Australian Consumer Law or another non-excludable statutory right requires one. A payment method is not proof of age and is never treated as one: card issuers do not disclose the holder's age, minors hold payment cards, and the cardholder need not be the account holder. Submitting a document that is not your own, or another person's document, is a material breach of these Terms and of the Acceptable Use Policy.

Everything else needs no document. The aspect timer, natal charts, the planets, the Solar HARP, Seven Force, the calendar and reading the Groups page are available without any identity check. Verification is deferrable: you may take out a membership and complete it later, or never, and keep every feature except the two named above.

2. What Horoscorpio is (and is not)

Horoscorpio is an astronomical aspect-timing and planetology instrument. It computes real planetary positions and aspect timings from cached Astronomy Engine ephemeris calculations and lets members contribute and explore a shared planetology corpus, form live "groups" from current sky geometry, and — with consent — engage other members.

Horoscorpio is not a fortune-telling, divination, or prediction service, and it does not provide professional advice. See the disclaimers in Section 7.

2a. The permission wall — consent architecture (immutable)

Horoscorpio is built on a permission wall: no one, of any age, can see profile information about a member without that member's invitation. Members appear to one another only as rank aliases until the member concerned takes an affirmative step (accepting a Challenge, extending an Invite, or Submitting access). Accordingly:

Consent. Data behind a permission wall cannot be harvested or accessed without unambiguous, affirmative consent from the individual it concerns. Consent is granted per counterpart and per group, is limited to the duration of the relevant 360° combination group unless renewed, and is revocable at any time with immediate effect.

This is an immutable design and legal position of the service: no feature, setting, integration, or administrative process overrides it, and any external integration (e.g. a linked social profile) only ever exposes a pointer the member expressly connected, to a counterpart the member expressly authorised.

2b. The Matrix — proximity resonance (opt-in)

The Matrix is an optional feature that displays and, with consent, composes members' quality-auras (a colour spectrum derived from keyword contributions). Your use of it is subject to the following, which sit within and do not diminish the permission wall in 2a:

3. Accounts

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information; one account per person; notify us of any unauthorised use. We may refuse, reclaim, or reset accounts (including auto-generated handles) to protect the service or other users.

4. Your content and the corpus licence

You keep ownership of the words, ratings, and other content you contribute ("Contributions"). By contributing, you grant Kudomos a worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual licence to store, aggregate, reproduce, adapt, and display your Contributions as part of the planetology corpus and derived wordmaps. The licence is perpetual because the corpus is cumulative and timeless — a Contribution refines a planetary signature that recurs across history, and individual entries are de-identified at the aggregate layer.

Deleting an account removes its linkable Contributions and attribution, but does not unwind aggregate weights, ranks, classifications, canonical progressions, or derived wordmaps into which a Contribution has already been irreversibly assimilated without account attribution. Those corpus results cannot be used to restore the deleted account or identify its former member.

You warrant that your Contributions are yours to give, lawful, and non-infringing. We may moderate, refuse, reposition, or remove any Contribution. Contributions must be genuine — see the Acceptable Use Policy on corpus manipulation.

5. Acceptable use

Your use is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy. Violations may lead to the actions in Section 6.

6. Suspension and termination — our reserved rights

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion and with or without prior notice, to warn, rate-limit, restrict, suspend, or permanently terminate any account or access where we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or the law; where required to protect users, the service, or the integrity of the corpus and ratings; or where you circumvent the age gate, impersonate others, harass, or attempt to game the system.

Where practical we apply graduated action (warn → restrict → suspend → ban), but severe conduct (e.g. threats, illegal content, underage circumvention, coordinated manipulation) may result in immediate termination. On termination your licence to use the service ends; provisions that by nature survive (content licence in §4, IP in §8, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law) continue. We may retain the minimum records needed to evidence and defend the decision, handle appeals, and meet legal obligations (see the Privacy Policy). To appeal, contact [email protected]. Termination for cause does not entitle you to a refund except where the Australian Consumer Law requires one.

8. Intellectual property

The Horoscorpio software, brand, holograph/visual system, and the planetology corpus are the intellectual property of Kudomos and are protected. The corpus is Horoscorpio's proprietary compilation: its selection, arrangement, classifications, aggregate weights and ranks, canonical progressions, derived wordmaps, and progression logic. This does not claim exclusive ownership of ordinary words, public-domain facts, or a contributor's underlying original expression; it protects the compiled canon and system created from them. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, scrape, extract, reconstruct, resell, or reverse-engineer the corpus or software.

9. Payments

10. Consumer guarantees, disclaimers, and liability

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law; nothing in these Terms limits those rights. Subject to that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available," without other warranties; and our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited, at our option, to resupplying the service or refunding the amount you paid for it (if any). We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make in reliance on the service (see Section 7).

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Kudomos against claims, losses, and costs arising from your breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, your Contributions, or your unlawful use of the service, except to the extent caused by us.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. Nothing here removes rights you have under mandatory local consumer law.

13. Changes and contact
